Seasoned upland hunters know that the overall quality of any wingshooting lodge is only as good as the quality of the birds. That’s why we’ve spent so much time and effort perfecting the genetic traits of our quail, pheasant and chukar. To ensure superior flying instinct and agility, our birds are raised in large flight pens, receive the most nutritious feed available and have minimal human contact. Because of this meticulous process, we can proudly stake claim to providing our guests with a truly authentic and challenging upland hunting experience.

In addition to outstanding upland hunting, we also offer some of Texas’s finest dove and waterfowl hunting on more than 15,000 acres of pastures, crop fields, ponds and water holes (with customized combo packages available upon request). All hunts include ground transportation to the fields, expert guides, dogs, drinks, snacks and bird processing/packaging.

At the Richards Ranch, we take great pride in providing our hunting guests with the most reliable and well-trained hunting dogs to be found anywhere in the United States. Our dogs – from our pointers, setters and German shorthairs to our Labradors – are personally raised and trained under the veteran eye of our nationally-renowned guides and trainers, ensuring their strong work ethic, solid temperament and uncompromising steadiness to flush. Wingshooting Package Prices

- 1/2 day package: $300 per person
- Full day package: $395 per person (includes clays shooting)

- Full day package with accommodations (food and lodging): $525 per person (includes clays shooting)
